Again, we took the bus down to Market Square. Public transport is surprisingly easy, once you get the hang of it. We walked up to Union Square to see what that was all about. Personally, I think the one in NYC is better, but maybe I'm biased because I have fond, fond memories from my childhood.

From Union Square, we found a little Mexican Bistro that had really delicious food. Eliza started off with a regular margarita, while I went a little wild and had a strawberry basil margarita. We shared some chips, salsa, and guacamole before each getting a trio of tacos. From left to right: spicy braised chicken with sliced jicama and avocado topped with a chipotle sauce; white fish taco with mole, pickled onion, and queso fresco; barbacoa steak with pickled red cabbage.
One delicious meal later, we hopped onto another form of public transport. Personally, I consider what is actually called the cable cars to be trolleys, and what we rode down to Castro to be a cable car. I didn't get to take a picture, but imagine if you will the busses from Who Framed Roger Rabbit? I think I'm the only one that will understand the reference, but I'm pretty sure that these were actual cable cars. Anyway, we made it to Castro, which if you're not familiar is the San Francisco Gay district. I thought it was great. I would have liked to have stayed all day, going into all the shops, but alas, that was not in the cards.

| If anyone is curious, I'd like this as a birthday present please. The tray, not the Hillary Clinton action figure. |

After making our way around the main streets of Castro, we started to get hungry again. We found a boutique burger joint. Tasty, juicy burgers, garlic parmesan fries, homemade pickles, and a chocolate malted milkshake. Color me content.
All in all, our second day in the city was not nearly as eventful as the first, but we still had an amazing time. I could definitely have stayed forever in this hilly city. Who knows? Maybe I'll be back for good one day. Until then, San Francisco...
