Sitting and enjoying my salad, across the pond, I start to hear splashes. Looking up, there are about 15 geese of all different sizes swimming towards me. Not one for the aviary, I packed my things and hightailed it to a different part of campus.
Still beautifully warm, I went to the Dillingham fountains. At night, they change color, but even during the day they're beautiful. The whole area around the fountains has been re-done in the past few years to offer some of the loveliest fews on campus.
After walking around outside, I decided to go to my old stomping grounds. The Whalen Center School of Music was the place on campus that always made me feel welcome. Always rich with various and sometimes dissonant instruments and voices, it was the place I liked most.
| Ford Hall where I caught an orchestra rehearsing for an upcoming performance. |
| The "Lizard Lounge". Recently re-done with brighter colors and lights, making it difficult to sleep in. |
I ended my night with an old friend watching hockey and Ultimate Fighting. While I would never watch them on my own, it was funny to watch and great to catch up with a good friend.
